Initial Visit
After you have filled out a preliminary registration form, your first visit begins with a history of your skin problem, including any previous treatments and whether there are associated illnesses. Next is a careful examination of your skin, both the obvious involved parts and other areas that may be important for diagnosis. If, on this first visit or later visits, you have a facial skin problem and wear make-up, please remove it before your appointment. Likewise, for nail conditions, please remove all nail polish before your appointment. It is not possible for the doctor to examine your problem adequately if it is covered up with cosmetics. You may want to bring make-up with you for reapplication before leaving our office.
